4-6 yaş Kur’an Kursları, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’na bağlı olarak Türkiye’nin erken çocukluk dönemi din eğitiminde önemli bir tecrübe ortaya koymaktadır. Bu anlamda söz konusu kurslar kurulduğu tarihten bu yana niceliksel anlamda artış gösterirken niteliksel açıdan da ortaya konulan bilimsel araştırmaların verilerine bağlı olarak çeşitli yenilikler gerçekleştirmektedir. Bu çalışmada Van ili örneklemi ile 4-6 yaş Kur’an kurslarının velilerin gözünden değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığıyla verilerin toplandığı bu araştırmada, çocuklarını söz konusu kurslara gönderen ebeveynlerin üç tema üzerinde yoğunlaşan görüşler ileri sürdükleri tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar; çocukların kurslara gönderilme nedenleri, kurslarda verilen eğitimin niteliği ve kursların fiziksel koşullarıdır. Söz konusu üç tema, bulgu başlıkları olarak ele alınmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Velilerin ilgili temalar bağlamında ileri sürdükleri değerlendirmeleri, sorun olarak görmüş oldukları bazı durumlar ile birlikte ortaya konulmuş ve problem alanlarına ilişkin çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
4-6 years old Qur’an Courses, under the Presidency of Religious Affairs, reveal an important experience in Turkey’s early childhood religious education. In this sense, while it has increased quantitatively since its establishment, it also carries out innovations with various searches depending on the data of scientific researches put forward in qualitative terms. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate 4-6 years old Quran courses from the eyes of the parents with the sample of Van province. In this study, in which data were collected through semi-structured interview forms using the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, it was determined that the parents who sent their children to the mentioned courses put forward opinions focusing on three themes. These; There a sons for sending children to the courses, the quality of the education given in the courses and the physical conditions of the courses. The three themes in question were handled and interpreted as findings titles. The evaluations put forward by the parents in the context of the relevant themes, along with some of the situations they saw as problems, were put forward and various suggestions were developed regarding the problem areas.
