The Content of this article, on behalf of Van Yüzüncü Yıl Universty, in accordance with the permisson of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; is based on the Surface Research of Artvin Province and its Districts in 2017 by the team under my presidency. During yhis research period; the settlement of Artvin Center, Arhavi, Hopa, Murgul, Ardanuç, Şavşat and Yusufeli districts were investigated.
Subject of declaration; consist of immovable cultural assets of different types and dates such as chapels, churches, monasteries, rock paintings, castles, houses, mosques, fountains, graves, tomstones, bridges, tourism areas and caves. Most of them are not even registered.
Among them , Arhavi Rock Panitngs (Petroglyphs), consisting of different sizes and at an altitude of approximately 2,000 are located in the plateau of Arılı Village Arhavi District, in the Valley of Demirkapı Location. The Petroglyphs here, consist of single and multiple paintings were incised light on the smooth surfaces of sloping rock blocks bounded by the way of the plateau.
Solyana Village Plateau Settelement; is located in Artvin province, Ardanuç district, Yaylacık Village and plateau. At an altitude of 1815 m, shelters, apparently built with large stones were encountered in ruin in two separate spaces within the willage. It can be said that the architectural structures built without mortar may have been built by the first settles who came to the region.
Chapel and entombed; the structure and entombed saitn in question , is located near the plateau settelement belongs to Artvin Province, Central district , Bağcılar Village, Muşavur location, 106 plot, on 1 parcel, near the plateau settelement of Pırnallı and Bağcılar villages. Locally konown as "Ziyaret" , encombed, the place which has been in demand by Muslim locals since ancient times; is located at an altitude of 2015 m, at a point overlooking the enviroment.
Ciha Fortress; is within the boundaries of Yukarı Hacılar neighborhood in Arhavi district of Artvin province, about 10 km away from the city centre. It is located on the top of the rising topography of the city center of Arhavi, on a rock overlooking the environment.
