Museums are the places where works related to history, culture, art and science are exhibited. One of the ethnographic museums, in which artifacts arising from the needs of the public's social life and the influence of the cultures, is in Hopa, Artvin. Hopa Ethnography Museum is a two-story structure with a big garden. In the garden of the museum, you can mainly see artifacts associated with agriculture. The ground floor is used as the administrative office. The upper floor has 7 rooms and 1 saloon in which ethnographic assets are exhibited. The museum has around 2,000 artifacts reflecting the lifestyle and culture of the people who lived in the rural areas of the Eastern Black Sea Region in the past years. In this sense, the Hopa Ethnography Museum is of great importance in terms of conservation of region-specific cultural heritage and transferring them to the next generations. On the other hand, this museum also attracts local and foreign tourists and offers the opportunity to contribute economically to the region. In this study, it seems that it is no possible to include all of the artifacts belong to the museum in this article: Due to this, only the works exhibited in the museum garden and the earthenware jars in the museum were examined. In addition to the formal features and functions of the considered artworks, they have been compared with similar ethnographic works in the Georgia, Tbilisi.
