Bu çalışma, cumhuriyetin kuruluşundan bugüne kadar Türkiye’de ortaya çıkmış ve gelişmiş olan sosyoloji geleneklerini bir bibliyografi incelemesi üzerinden incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Sosyoloji disiplini, özellikle içinde yer aldığı ve geliştiği toplumla iç içe olmayı gerektirdiğinden Türkiye’de Cumhuriyet’in kuruluşu itibariyle ülkenin deneyimlediği toplumsal buhranlar, olaylar ve değişimler akademiyi, özellikle sosyoloji disiplininin çalışma konularını da etkisi altına almıştır. Bu nedenle, toplumların tarihini anlayabilmek için içinde gelişen sosyoloji geleneğine kulak vermek yerinde olacaktır. Sosyoloji geleneğinin farklı zamanlar içinde farklı çalışma konularını benimsemesi nedeniyle, sadece bu konulara bakarak dahi toplumların içinden geçtiği değişim ve dönemlerle ilgili fikir sahibi olunabilir. Burada ilgili literatür ve bibliyografyanın incelenmesi ile, okuyucunun toplumla ilgili benzer şekilde fikir sahibi olması beklenmektedir. 1960lı yılların Sosyoloji bilim anlayışı ve ele aldığı konularla; 80li yılların bilim anlayışı ve ele aldığı konular anlaşılacağı üzere birbirinden oldukça uzağa düşmektedir. Bu çalışma, söz konusu bilim anlayışları ve araştırma konularını, ilgili dönem içerisinde sahne olunan toplumsal olaylar ve tarihsel süreçlerle olabildiğince ilişkilendirerek ilgili değişimi gözler önüne sermektedir.
This study aims to examine the sociological traditions that have emerged and developed in Turkey since the foundation of the republic through a bibliography. Since the discipline of sociology requires being intertwined with the society in which it is located and developed, the social crises, events, and changes experienced by the country since the foundation of the Republic in Turkey have influenced academia, especially the subjects of study of the discipline of sociology. Therefore, in order to understand the history of societies, it would be appropriate to pay attention to the sociological tradition that has developed within them. Since the sociological tradition has adopted different subjects of study at different times, it is possible to have an idea about the changes and periods that societies have gone through just by looking at these subjects. The reader is expected to have a similar idea about society by analyzing the relevant literature and bibliography. As it can be understood, the understanding of the science of sociology in the 1960s and the subjects it deals with and the understanding of science in the 80s and the subjects it deals with are quite far from each other. This study reveals the relevant change by associating these conceptions of science and research topics with the social events and historical processes that took place in the relevant period as much as possible.
