Peyzaj mimarlığı disiplini doğal ve yapay peyzaj materyallerini beraber kullanan ve bunu planlama ve tasarım çalışmalarında vurgulayan bir
meslektir. Peyzaj projelerini hazırlayan peyzaj mimarlarının, doğal materyallerin yanı sıra yapay malzemeleri de iyi bilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu
materyallerin çevre ve tasarım içerisinde ki uyumu oldukça önemlidir. Planlanan tasarımlarda sürdürülebilirliğin en önemli faktörlerinden
biriside budur. “Kent Mobilyaları” kavramı, 2010 yılı başlangıcı itibariyle ortaya çıkan ve güncel bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaya devam
eden, bu alanda birçok araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetlerinin gerçekleştirildiği bir kullanım materyalidir. Kent mobilyaları tasarımı ise, kent
kimliğine çağdaş ve modern bir görünüm kazandırarak estetik bakımdan görsel değeri yüksek bir kent imajı yaratmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Yapılan bu çalışmada, kent mobilyalarının genel bir bakış açısı ile tanımlamaları yapılarak, tasarımda özgünlük oluşturabilecek değerler
üzerinde durulmuş ve materyal olarak güncel kent mobilyaları tasarım örnekleri incelenerek değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu inceleme yöntemi
tasarım ilkelerine göre kent mobilyalarını gruplandırarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. İnceleme ve değerlendirmeler sonucunda çeşitli öneriler ortaya
konulmuştur. Bu önerilerden en önemlisinin ise; özgün ve inovatif kent mobilyaları, estetik bir tasarım ile kullanıldıkları açık alanlarda hem
kullanım kalitesini hem de görsel kaliteyi arttırdığı, kent kimliğini ve kullanıcıların psikolojik durumlarını olumlu yönde etkileyebilme imkânı
sağladığı ortaya konulmuştur. Tasarım ilkeleri ışığında özgün kent mobilyaları tasarımı yaratılarak, estetik ve işlevsel tasarımlar ile şehrin kent
kimliğine damga vurabilecek nitelikte öneme sahip bir kavram oluşturacağı gerçeği tespit edilmiştir.

Landscape architecture discipline is a profession that uses natural and artificial landscape materials together and emphasizes this in planning
and design studies. Landscape architects who prepare landscape projects need to know artificial materials as well as natural materials. The
harmony of these materials in the environment and design is very important. This is one of the most important factors of sustainability in
planned designs. The concept of "City Furnitures" is a usage material in which many research and development activities have been carried
out in this area, which has emerged at the beginning of 2010 and continues to face contradiction as a current concept. The design of the city
furniture aims to create a city image with a high visual value from the aesthetic view by giving a modern and modern appearance to the urban
identity. In this study, the definitions of city furniture were made with a general point of view, the values that can create originality in design
were emphasized and the design samples of current city furniture were evaluated as materials. This method of analysis was carried out by
grouping urban furniture according to design principles. As a result of the reviews and evaluations, various suggestions have been put forward.
The most important of these proposals is; original and innovative urban furniture has been shown to increase both the quality of use and visual
quality in open spaces where they are used with an aesthetic design and it is possible to influence the psychological conditions of the city
identity and users positively. The fact that design of unique urban furniture was created in the light of the design principles, and that the
aesthetic and functional designs and the city will form a concept with the quality that can imprint the city identity.
