Özet

In this study, we derive a new life-time distribution called as Alpha Power Maxwell (APM) by using the Alpha Power Transformation method proposed by Mahdavi and Kundu [1]. Some statistical properties of it are provided and discussed, as well. The maximum likelihood (ML) method is utilized to obtain the estimates of parameters of the APM distribution. However, the ML estimates of the unknown paramerters can not be obtained explicitly. Therefore, iterative techniques should be used, e.g. Newton-Raphson. At the end of the study, the APM distribution is used to model the actual data set and the results are presented.
