The security sector gains a new dimension every day within the framework of different needs and developments. The diversification of security and the changes experienced cause the diversification of the sector. The private security sector, which has existed in the security sector in the last century, is growing day by day. With the developments experienced, the private security sector has started to provide security services in many different areas. In the private security sector, which continues to grow, the training of the personnel who will perform the profession is of great importance in itself. Private security training in Turkey is given in private security training institutions and vocational schools affiliated to higher education institutions, according to the current legislation. With the Regulation on the Implementation of the Law on Private Security Services, the basic courses to be taught in this field have been determined. With the developing and changing conditions, there has been a change in security and security approaches. Security is no longer a phenomenon that is perceived only physically. Security must be provided as a whole, apart from physically protecting an area. Considering the importance of technology and information security, it is necessary to train the personnel who will work in this field and to adapt them to the system. In this study, the importance of cyber security in private security vocational training was mentioned and suggestions were made about its integration.
