Bu çalışmada Van ili ve çevresindeki yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları, kullanım oranı ve üretim kapasiteleri hakkında detaylı bilgiler toplanmıştır. Ayrıca ülke genelindeki yıllık üretim ve diğer parametrelere ait grafikler ile bölgeye ait bilgiler karşılaştırılarak bazı sonuçlara varılmıştır. Bölgenin coğrafi konumu ve iklim koşulları göz önüne alındığında özellikle güneş ve rüzgar enerjisi bakımından büyük potansiyelinin olduğu bu potansiyelin kullanılması durumunda bölge ve ülke ekonomisine, enerji üretim ve enerji güvenliğine ne gibi katkılar sunacağı tartışılmıştır. Mevcut üretim kapasitesinin arttırılabilmesi durumunda yenilenebilir enerji konusunda söz konusu bölgenin ülkemiz ve bölge ülkeleri arasında enerji üretim ve dağıtım merkezlerinden biri olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
In this study, detailed information was collected about renewable energy resources, usage rate and production capacities in Van city and its surroundings. Some conclusions were reached by comparing the graphs of annual production and other parameters across the country with information about the region. Considering the geographical location and climatic conditions of the region, it has been discussed that it has a great potential, especially in terms of solar and wind energy, and what contributions it will make to the regional and national economy, energy production and energy security if this potential is used. If the current production capacity can be increased, it is thought that the region in question can become one of the energy production and distribution centers between our country and the countries in the region in terms of renewable energy.
