İbnu’l-Mibred el-Makdisî (ö. 909/1503) çok eser telif eden âlimlerden birisi olup diğer ilimlere hâkim olduğu gibi Arap dilbilgisini inceleyen bir şahsiyettir. Arap dil grameri alanında müstakil bir kitabı bulunmakla beraber farklı eserler içerisinde de dil konularına değinmiştir. Bu eserlerden birisi de ansiklopedik bir kitap niteliği taşıyan Zebedu’l-ʿulûm ve ṣâḥibu’l-manṭûḳ ve’l-mefhûm isimli eserdir. Bu eserde toplamda 42 faklı ilim konusu ele alınmış ve bunlar içerisinde nahiv, sarf, i‘râb, lügat, şevâhid, elğâz, arûz, garîp, me‘ânî, beyân, bedî‘ gibi dil ve belagat bölümleri bulunmaktadır. Mezkûr kitabı, daha önce telif ettiği fakat günümüze ulaşmayan Câmi‘u’l-‘ulûm eserinin hülasası niteliğindedir ve özet bir şekilde nahiv ve sarf konularına değinmiş, garip kelimelerin manalarını açıklamış, dil kurallarında başvurulan istişhâdleri zikretmiş ve farklı dil meselelerini ele almıştır. Çalışmada İbnu’l-Mibred’in hangi alanlarda dil gramerine katkıda bulunduğu, Zebedu’l-ʿulûm eserinde ele aldığı nahiv ve sarf konularına ve onun bu ilimlere nasıl değindiği incelenecektir. İbnu’l-Mibred’in akademik camiada yeterince ele alınmaması böyle çalışmalara ihtiyaç bırakmaktadır.
İbnu'l-Mibred el-Makdisi (d. 909/1503) is one of the scholars who wrote many works and is a person who studies Arabic grammar as well as having knowledge of other sciences. Although he has a separate book on Arabic language grammar, he also touched upon language issues in different works. One of these works is the work named Zebedu'l-ʿulûm ve ṣâḥibu'l-manṭûḳ ve'l-mefhûm, which is an encyclopedic book. Here, he discussed a total of 42 different scientific subjects, and among these, there are language and rhetoric sections such as nahiv, sarf, i'râb, lügat, şevâhid, elğâz, aruz, garîp, me'ânî, beyân, bedî'. The aforementioned book is the summary of the work Câmi'u'l-'ulûm, which he had previously compiled but has not survived to the present day, and he briefly touched upon the issues of syntax and grammar, explained the meanings of strange words, mentioned the istishhads used in the language rules and dealt with different language issues. In the study, it will be examined in which areas İbnu'l-Mibred contributed to language grammar, the subjects of syntax and grammar that he discussed in his work Zebedu'l-ʿulûm, and how he touched on these sciences. The fact that Ibnu'l-Mibred is not addressed sufficiently in the academic community creates a need for such studies.
