Abstract

In this study, the multi-element contents of some plant species (Arum conophalloides, Arum detruncatum, Ornithogalum narbonense, Muscari comosumve Lippia citrodora) used for food and medicinal purposes were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The species used in the study have first incinerated by adding concentrated nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide in the microwave solubilization process. Later, the obtained solution was diluted to a final volume of 100 mL and analyzed by ICP-MS.Element contents of different species of the same genus have compared with each other. It has been determined that the element contents of the species belonging to these genera are different from each other and this difference depends on the genetic structure of the plant,
