Biography

My research focuses on how physical, thermal and social environmental factors affect behavior, physiology, welfare and productive performance in ruminants, particularly sheep and goats. I study behavioral, metabolic and physiological stress responses to different rearing and management practices, with the aim of improving animal welfare, resilience, reproductive efficiency, performance and meat quality.
