Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferhat Kardaş was born in 1990. He completed his secondary education at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School and enrolled in the Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR) department at Boğaziçi University in 2006. Following his undergraduate education, he was appointed as a research assistant in the PDR department at Yüzüncü Yıl University in 2011. He completed his master's degree between 2011 and 2013. After completing his doctoral studies at the Department of Psychological Services in Education at Ankara University's Faculty of Educational Sciences between 2013 and 2017, he became an assistant professor. He was promoted to associate professor in 2022. The researcher, who has published numerous articles in domestic and international scientific journals and presented various papers at international conferences, focuses on positive psychology, perseverance, grit, well-being, happiness, meaning in life, gratitude, character and values education, psychological counseling education, willpower education, and character strengths. In addition to his book chapters, he has published four books: Keep Walking, Willpower Training, Man's Search for Inner Peace, and Overcoming Your Own Shadow.
